Sony phone projector3/2/2024 ![]() However, I like a good deal like the next person BUT…….if you have the extra $$ I think the extra $1K cost is well worth what you get! The way I see it, you’re going to use the projector for for the next five or more years so don’t cheap out and try to save a few bucks cause you’ll never remember we spent it later. If you want to save money$1,000 (at the cost of missing out on an extra year warranty-3 yrs, better contrast and brightness, and an included Chief Mount) get the Epson LS11000 $3,999 (but can find on sale). My Real Suggestions That Give Balance, Value, and Great Picture are below**Ī. But these are both Great for 100% Movies. ![]() If you will never GAME***** the lowest priced Sony or JVC are between ($5-$6K) and will give the on paper best picture so these you should consider!īut those 2 are just my not being biased suggestions. Good luck with your setup and hope you enjoy it! Of course this is a personal feeling and isn't always true but I would keep that in mind when making your setup. I personally would make sure you have a good budget for sound as well since I personally feel like a good sound system, not as fancy projector is better than a nice projector but not so nice sound system. I'd say try to demo these projectors and see if you absolutely want to spend the full 6k on the sony/jvc or save a bit by picking some of the epson options. ![]() For a cheaper solid option, there's the 5050UB from Epson at a bit under half the price of the others but it is only a 3x pixel shift vs the 4x needed for the full 4k pixels.įor what it's worth, I own a Sony XW5000ES and I think it's a great option should you pick it. I think that one is also a great option but I'd personally go for the Sony/JVC (again, can't speak much for the JVC but I've heard great things about them) at that price point. For a bit cheaper there's also the LS12000 from Epson that I've seen many using. At the upper end of your budget, I'd recommend the Sony XW5000ES as one of the best in the price category (not sure how the JVC NP5 (lamp based projector) compares to the Sony at around the same price).
